SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER The Herald, Snohomish County's newspaper, is looking for an experienced, professional, and motivated individual to join its Interactive media team as a Web Developer. This person will: ?Design, construct and maintain web pages/sites for The Herald, using Saxotech, a proprietary system utilizing core web programming knowledge. ?Create and incorporate graphic elements and back end databases in both MS Access and MS SQL servers. ?Maintain and provide ongoing design of the web sites. ?Programming support of advertising on the website. Desired Qualifications: ? lProficient in HTML, ColdFusion, Flash, and Microsoft Site Server Ad Manager. ?Working knowledge of ASP, JavaScript, MS SQL, MS SQL Server, MS Access, Windows 95/98/NT, Macintosh, XHTML, XML, JSP, CGI, and JAVA. ?Familiarity with Homesite, Dreamweaver, MS Frontpage, MS Office, MS Publisher and MS Outlook. ?Extensive knowledge of all current internet browsers, WebTV, AOL's e-mail program and applications for the PC and Macintosh and how HTML is rendered in these various browsers. ?Familiar with MS Office and Photoshop. ?
