Incumbent interacts with supervisor on overall project goals throughout the project lifecycle. The incumbent demonstrates ability to excel on complex projects and is a leader in forming business standards throughout the training organization. As well, the incumbent will assist supervisor with overall vision and strategic planning. Interacts with supervisor on overall project goals and at the start and end of those projects. The incumbent demonstrates ability to excel on complex projects.Job ResponsibilitiesProject management activities will include coordination of projects, teams, training events, and collaborative efforts between customers and cross-functional teams. Maintenance and development of training programs will include, instructional design, needs assessment, and curricula development.Conceptualizes design for third party development.Training administration activities will include: tracking and trending training data, interpreting data, and implementation records management systemTraining documentation activities will include: review of training materials and curricula, revising training policies and procedures, and designing changes to training documents.General training support activities include, decision making accountabilities. Evaluation of training programs for effectiveness. Analyzes performance issues to determine proper intervention Continuous improvement and training leadership activities are a focus for this position. Multiple delivery methods including small group and classroom training (primarily knowledge training). Trainer will spend a significant amount of time with authors and SMEs to obtain requisite knowledge and training.Site wide training activities may include support of New Employee Orientation, general facilitation and project management for site initiatives, as required.Basic QualificationsBA/BS degree in relevant discipline is required for the Sr. Training Specialist position. Masters degree is preferred.Training and/or Instructional Design certifications are preferred.Specific experience in platform training, instructional design and project management is desired.
