Senior State Tax Associate
We are recruiting for a solid Fortune 500 company. They are currently seeking a Senior State Tax Associate to join their team. This is a rare opening with one of the top companies in the area. Responsibilities include:
·Prepare state income tax returns, estimated payments, respond to notices from taxing authorities
·Coordinate information gathering and calculation of state apportionment factors
·Conduct tax research
·Project state income tax liability, review and analyze actual versus estimates
·Perform special tax projects and analysis

·Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
·CPA or MST preferred, but not a must have with 3-5 years of tax experience, including current or recent experience in public accounting or an SEC company - experience with multi-state taxpayers a plus
·Able to research tax issues and provide recommendations
·Team player, self-motivated, with a positive attitude
·Solid communication skills
