Senior Replenishment Manager

Position Summary To manage / coordinate the replenishment of a GMM division, with the goal of maximizing sales through high in-stock while controlling the inventory to achieve improved inventory turnover.

Position Responsibilities We are looking for someone who has had experience in the following:

• Establish and maintain guidelines, expectations, and oversea the team responsible for creation of purchase orders using a variety of Replenishment purchase order systems (includes Inforem Replenishment, Promotional, and Seasonal) to effectively flow inventory to warehouses and stores for assigned departments to attain in stock and inventory objectives.

• Implement the optimal replenishment channel for all replenishable items.

• Responsible for setting direction and managing the expectations and results of the Co-managed Partners

• Establishing the strategies and expectations for all C.P.F.R. partners within the assigned division

• Weekly participation in GMM meetings with daily communication of activities

• Directly responsible for the results of the top 10 “top volume” vendors within the assigned division

• Develop and create replenishment strategies for assigned area of responsibility

• Responsible for the development of his/her team by identifying and coaching areas of development

• Conduct monthly store and DC visits

• Focus with team to identify and resolve issues with vendors and categories with low in stock

• Research and identify the correct placement of all items within a fine line to maximize sales

• Responsible for improving and maintaining in-stock at store and DC level

• Create and maintain all Zone level seasonal profiles

• Generate, analyze and resolve issues relating to vendor forecasts by facilitating meetings to ensure understanding of expected future merchandise requirements

• Track the in stock and sales on a weekly basis

• Identify problems and make decisions based on known policies and previous experience

• Support team in responding to store questions generated from the “POS” hotline

• Participate in strategic meeting and/or as a committee member, as needed

Qualifications • Community College/university diploma

• 3-5 years experience on inventory management or supply chain processes

• Retail store operations experience is an asset.

• Ability to undertake or initiate special projects.

• Ability to make independent decisions using known policies and previous experience.

• Understanding of “INFOREM” applications.

• Developing profiles for the seasonality of replenishable items.

• Provide detail analysis of item performance.

• Collaborate effectively with customers both inside and outside the organization.

• Able to work under pressure and cope with high volume workload.

• Good “Problem Solving” skillsParticipate in strategic meeting and/or as a committee member, as needed
