Senior QA Analyst - Interactive Media

The QA Analyst will work on a variety of high-profile web sites and rich internet applications. The primary responsibility of the QA Analyst is to participate in Requirements/Design/Code reviews, develop test plans, test cases, execute tests, identify risks, track defects and communicate status to ensure that the products meets specified business requirements.
ESSENTAL SKILLS AND FUNCTIONS include the following.
Required Skills: Responsible, organized, detail-oriented, self-starter who’s able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, able to work equally well both independently and as part of a larger team, and able to take ownership of work assigned Well versed with various types of testing in various environments.Think creatively and employ best practices when faced with new workThorough understanding of SQA and SDLC methodologies Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Visio Experience with a variety of operating systems and internet plug-ins, including Flash, Windows Media Player, Quicktime, and Real Player Previous hands-on black box/white box/grey box testing and bug reporting experience Previous experience creating QA deliverables Ability to produce high quality work with limited supervisionAbility to follow standard testing procedures and give recommendations for improvementStrong analytical skillsProficiency in requirements analysis and reviewsExpert knowledge and skills in developing test plans and test casesExcellent documentation skills
Job Functions:Review requirements and design documents to ensure adequate understanding to develop test casesAbility to estimate and communicate QA time needed for within the product cycleDevelop QA Deliverables (Test Plans, Test Cases, Checklist, etc) based on various levels of requirements detailsDetermine test environment and test data requirementsDocuments and elevate risks when appropriateExecute tests and track defects from regular builds Perform cross browser and platform test (PC, Mac, Linux, Unix, etc)Identify deficiencies and extend the depth of test coverage
