They will also be the departmental representatives on Clinical Project Teams to provide strategic inputs for drug development plans. In some cases, they will contribute as part of a team working on data analysis and reporting for additional secondary projects. An interest and desire to develop and/or adopt new statistical methodologies is expected.Job Responsibilities*Leading statistical work within one or more major projects.*Demonstrate strong interest in statistical research activities by presenting of novel methods on clinical trial development at Wyeth Biostatistical research meetings and at national meetings.*Biostatistical input in cross functional project activities such as staff training programs, working procedures, and various Clinical Operations and Clinical Research and Development initiatives designed to improve efficiency and productivity.*Technical supervision of junior statisticians and/or programmers.*Ensure timeliness and quality of statistical and programming deliverables according to project plans for assigned studies and projects.*Attend CRC meetings as Statistical Discussant.Basic Qualifications*Masters Degree. Preferably with a Biostatistics/Statistics major.*At least 9 years of relevant work experience with a Masters Degree or at least 5 years with a Doctorate Degree.
