Description:Responsibilities- 4 year degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent experience). - Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Oracle database systems in the UNIX operating system. - 10g experience required- Dimensional data modeling experience required- Oracle Streams preferred- RMAN- Experience with clustered environments preferred- Partitioning- PL/SQL- Good performance and tuning skill set- Shell scripting- Oracle support in .net environment preferred- ETL experience preferredAbout the OpportunitySenior Database Administrator Candidate is expected to be familiar with architecture, logical and physical design, automation, documentation, installs, shell scripting, PL/SQL programming, backup & recovery, monitoring, and database and query tuning. Candidate must have good analytical, verbal and written skills. Oracle 10g experience required.Full life cycle support of client's database(s). Responsible database backups, recoveries, patches, upgrades and performance tuning. Will also be required to work with developers to design and build new structures to support future enhancements to the applications. Candidate must have good analytical, verbal and written skills. Experience with data architecture, data modeling, database and data warehouse design, database management and performance tuning, data extraction/transformation/loading (ETL).
