Senior Java/J2EE Developer

Fortune 100 Publishing Company is looking to hire multiple Senior Java/J2EE Developer for a project that will last for 14+ months




Location: Arizona

Duration: 14+ months

 

The qualified candidate is expected to work on small to medium sized teams specializing in J2EE development. The candidate should be knowledgeable and experienced in implementing Servlet, JSP, XML/XSL technologies with a strong understanding of J2EE 1.4 and Java EE 5. Web applications use AJAX methods to deliver an efficient and engaging user experience. Compensation will match level of experience and qualifications.

'B.S. in Computer Science/Information Technology; or B.S.E. in Computer Engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience
'M.S., M.S.E, M.Eng. Preferred
'10 + years of experience developing J2EE applications in a structured environment
'Strong teamwork and leadership skills
'Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, to different levels of technical and non-technical audiences
'Ability to provide level-of-effort estimates
'Thorough knowledge of software design patterns and UML
'Ability to design and document complex software systems
'Ability to mentor less-experienced developers
'Experience with configuration management systems and concepts (CVS, SVN, ClearCase, SourceSafe, etc.)
'Effective communication and collaboration skills

Skill level analysis in spring, hibernate and struts
