Senior Java Developer with Relational Database and ETL Experience

Job Description:Genesis10 has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Java Developer to join a financial organization client located in Charlotte, NC. The Java Developer will develop reconciliation processes for the credit risk environment along with related reports. This position requires fluency with Oracle and/or MS-SQL/Sybase to research data issues that impact the reconciliation process or reports. The ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly is expected. Responsibilities- New application development, debugging issues with existing applications and designing, coding and testing solutions. Job Experience:Required Skills/Experience:- Very strong software development skills, including strong knowledge of Java and related technologies.- Strong experience with relational databases such as Oracle or MS-SQL.- Understanding of ETL methodology.- Strong teamwork skills.- Strong experience with MS tools (Excel, Access).- In depth project experience with reporting tools such as Actuate.Preferred Skills/Experience:- CMM and Six Sigma knowledge.- Risk Management knowledge.- Capital markets experience.- Experience with ETL programming and tools.- Strong math skills.- Experience with credit risk data and processing.- JMS experience.This is an excellent opportunity to join a winning team.
