Senior Fund COntroller
Senior Fund ControllerOpening in Manhattan for Sr. Fund Controller to: 1) Prepare and perform analytics for real estate investment transactions; 2) Review and consult on periodic cash flow analysis; 3) Review accruals, bank reconciliations, journal entries and intercompany receivables and payables; 4) Review and consult on analyses of debt compliance and schedules supporting treasury function; 5) Review and consult on consolidating and consolidated financial statements on US tax, US GAAP and/or IFRS basis including method of consolidation and elimination entries; 6) Support regional teams as needed and gather information from regional teams for preparation of consolidated financial statement; 7) Evaluate changes in budget and prepare variance analysis; 8) Ensure that all work is routinely and accurately completed in accordance with company standards; 9) Train, supervise and evaluation assigned staff; 10) Review and consult on accounting entries to record real estate transactions (such as acquisition, disposition, refinancing and redemption) to ensure accounting is in accordance with current accounting guidance and legal documentation; 11) Review and consult on preparation of Financial Accounting Board Interpretation Number 45, Emerging Issues Task Force 04-5, Emerging Issues Task Force 96-19 and Financial Accounting Standard 150 analyses: 12) Researching on emerging accounting issues related to real estate transactions.
