Senior Financial Analyst
Very visible position responsible for general accounting activities, financial analysis and payroll processing for the Western Region. Accomplish accounting requirements by maintaining accounting processes including journal entries and general ledger maintenance, payroll accounting, A/R accounting and bank reconciliations. Manage the closing process for 6 profit centers. Support and assist in the annual budget process. Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements and financial statements. Prepare B&O tax returns. Process payroll in multiple states. Manage internal and external audits.Qualifications? 5+ years of accounting experience in a multi-location business environment? Degree in Finance or Accounting required? Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and data base systems/programs? Proficient in the use of turn key accounting systems. SAP experience is a plus. * Understands and can follow fundamental accounting concepts, practices and procedures.* Must have recent experience process multi-state payroll. * Experience in time & attendance systems that support payroll policy and processing. * Must demonstrate strong communication skills (written and oral), be organized to consistently meet deadlines and be creative in implementing change.?
