Job Title:Senior Associate, Technology - Core JAVAJob Summary: The Senior Associate, Technology provides technical leadership to the project team by taking responsibility for a specific component or track of the project architecture/SDLC. This includes planning, estimation, people management, issue resolution and quality assurance. Primary Responsibilities: Deep understanding of OO design Drive mid-level planning exercises with engineers Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately Write bug-free code. Facilitate workshops and client meetingsRequirements: Bachelor’s degree required and degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Minimum 1-3 years in systems integration and development, package implementation, and/or interactive design. Experience with NIO, JDBC, Multi-threading. Experience with message processing/streaming desirable. Experience with performance tuning Java-based applications desirable Experience with JPROBE or JPROFILER, JUNIT a plus. Database programming skills in Oracle a plus. Experience with JMX a plus. Proficient in UML, OOAD. Ability to abstract detail into larger (repeatable) patterns, familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques. Experience providing a vision of the total solution, managing a track of work and defining a comprehensive solution leading toward a common vision. Understanding of the project life cycle process. Financial Services/Investment Banking domain experience is a plus.
