Senior Analyst, Information Systems QUALIFICATIONS: Expert level RPGIV batch and interactive programmer CL programming EDI / E-Commerce background development experience with analysis, coding, testing and support skills Project Management skills Manufacturing background proficient with MS Office products demonstrated ability to interact with others Net skills a plus Bachelors Degree preferredDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs new program design and development directed by interfacing with the user to analyze needs, make recommendations, and may plan / lead the project. Analysis and coding skills are both very important as well as "out of the box" thinking Utilize new technology in innovative and creative ways to modernize or enhance existing software applications Perform second-tier help desk support by responding to client calls, troubleshooting, and resolving them in assigned business areas Installation, configuration, and support of externally developed software packages (MAPICS, Gentran Server for the iSeries (EDI), Lansa AS2, ROBOT, Elite, TL Ashford, Kronos Timekeeper) as well as iSeries OS if assigned Perform maintenance programming including enhancements in support of assigned business areas and doing so without introducing new defects in existing code Perform Daily and Monthly operations on a rotational basis Maintain and enhance technical expertise in the iSeries environment, programming languages (RPG and it's modern variants, SQL, etc.), and application software development techniques as well as the BIVI business and it's markets Adhere to Change Control, CSV&C requirements, and SOP’slogET();PauseFooter(false); Corporate Site
