Senior ATE Test Engineer

If you meet the requirements of this position and want to work for a world-class company with a great marketplace reputation, apply today.Performs one or more of the following duties:JOB SUMMARY:Perform ATE Test engineering tasks as part of a product development team working to create, modify, and maintain ACS TMS’ CAD/AVL vehicle hardware systemsWork independently, or in a leadership role with other hardware, embedded software, and mechanical engineers to design, test, and document analog and digital circuits.Tasks include circuit design, electronics parts selection, electrical testing and verification, and post-release support.Work with internal staff and contractors to meet cost and schedule goals.The successful candidate will be self-motivated, independent, a good team player, and have good attitude and communication skills.RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Development of SW/HW for digital and mixed signal ATE test platforms.2. Development and debugging of test capability for scan, BIST, and functional testing of digital and/or mixed signal products.3. Creation, review, and modification of documentation (requirements, specifications, test plans, change notices, etc.)4. PCB Designer layout guidance and review. 5. Electronic part selection and data sheet review for meeting specified requirements. 6. Interacting with vendors for discussing part specifications, obtaining samples, cost, and availability.7. Work with the CM and the Production group to enhance production yield and reduce cost. 8. Conduct sub assembly level testing of electronic PCBs.9. Conduct system level tests to verify functional performance of electronic assemblies of the final system.10. Correlate device parameters between bench and ATE measurements. 11. Support and participate in on-site meetings, and reviews.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Indirect supervision of technicians and contractors.WRITTEN AND VERBAL CONTACT: Interacts with all levels of the engineering and program management organizations.Interaction with managers from other departments.EDUCATION:BSEE or degree in a related field.Masters degree preferred.EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 5 years of ATE test development and manufacturing experience is required.COMPUTER EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, schematic capture software (ORCAD a plus), and PCB layout software (PADS a plus) is required.ADDITIONAL SKILLS:C / C++ programming experience required.Good presentation and communication skills required.Experience with Oscilloscopes, signal generators, logic analyzers required.Labview / LabWindows programming experience is a plus.RF experience is a plus.Experience in the transportation industry is a plus.ACS is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not Discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, color, religion/creed, national origin, gender, or sex, marital status, age, disability, use of a guide dog or service animal, sexual orientation, military/veteran status, or any other status protected by Federal or State law or local ordinance.
