Sales Executive
This position plans, develops, and controls the objectives and activities of the sales staff responsible for the sale of the Company's products and services for a specified business, region, or major geographical area. In addition, the position provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning, and technical development of products and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Liaises with multiple business lines, management and leadership to determine the most effective way to develop the local business and to promote the company and its major brands.
Plays a pivotal role in coordinating a formal and effective communications structure between sales, product and marketing groups in support of a focused strategy. Accountable for further developing long term strategic business relationships with existing clients and for identifying as well as pursuing new market opportunities.
Develops sales plans for a major geographical area.
Manages sales staff, sets appropriate goals and coaches staff to achieve desires sales results.
Makes presentations to key decisions makers at prospective companies.
Manages entire sales cycle from identification through to close, including presentation, request for proposal responses, contract negotiations and transition to other departments for future servicing.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in the Sales department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises five non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
