Sales Assistant

National Building Products, Inc. is looking for an experienced Sales Assistant to join our team. The Sales Assistant is an integral part of our sales team supporting our outside sales representatives by answering calls, assisting customers in the showroom and performing basic blue print takeoffs.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating available products to homeowners as well as contractors in the showroom, emphasizing the features and benefits of each product. They will create, verify and submit accurate product orders for the outside sales representatives utilizing our proprietary systems. 

 

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in inside sales and has a strong desire to succeed. The successful candidate must be energetic and an effective communicator who is able to relate to homeowners and contractors.  They should be an independent thinker, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with the ability to multi-task. Knowledge in building materials industry is a plus.
