About Us:

We are a Wastewater Collection Company targeting the grease trap market segment of the industry. Our company currently operates in the Texas, Georgia and Florida markets.

 

We are currently seeking a Safety and DOT Compliance Manager to join our team in Houston, TX.

 

Job Description:

The full-time Safety and Department of Transportation (DOT) Compliance Manager will ensure that the company is in compliance with all DOT Federal and State rules and regulations and provide training, instruction and guidance in these areas.  The Safety and DOT Compliance Manager would also be responsible for maintaining OSHA compliance and be knowledgeable of health and safety standards, corporate policies and procedures, best practices and access to additional resources as needed.

 

Job Responsibilities:Assure compliance with DOT and OSHA regulationsProvide guidance, training and compliance with FMCSR and state and local levelsDirect compliance of employees with established company transportation policies, procedures, and standardsDirect compliance of employees and employer with established safety policies, procedures, and standardsReview driver qualification filesCorrespond with PEO’s Sr. Risk Management representative regarding training and development of Company’s safety programInvestigate incidents and inspects equipment to ensure protection for company personnel and assetsConduct DOT audits in assigned area

 

J0b Requirements:Applicants must possess an Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school, or 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be experienced with DOT and OSHA regulations and reporting and have the ability to work in an environment with 50% travel  Must have 3  years of Industrial Safety experience
