SQL Quality Assurance
Job Description:For this position, you will use your experience in SQL Quality Assurance to ensure overall quality of individual software, web applications, and supporting systems for this city municipality.Your responsibilities will include: Developing, implementing, and maintaining test plans and scripts Creating test scenarios that foster comprehensive testing Executing manual test scripts Performing unit, system, quality acceptance, stress, load, regression, and/or integration testing Coordinating testing efforts with Technical Analysts and Project Managers Facilitating end user testing Distributing test cases, following up on test results, and documenting issues and bugs Performing software and user documentation audits Testing systems against design and requirements documentation Ensuring quality control by conducting walkthroughs, reviewing checklists, auditing deliverables, and evaluating project milestones Devising measures to evaluate the effectiveness of quality actions Aiding in gathering and analyzing metrics for defect tracking Analyzing, logging, and auditing problem reports and enhancement reports Job Experience: 5+ years related work experience Experience developing and implementing test plans and test scripts Experience with black box testing of web applications Experience testing .NET and ASP applications Experience reading and writing SQL queries (preferably in the Oracle and SQL Server environments) Experience with .NET, XML, ASP, VB, CSS, HTML, and DHTML Experience writing test plans, quality assurance guidelines for standards, and project planning documentation Understanding of Information Technology theories, processes, standards, and the software development life cycle Understanding of the interaction and relationships between multiple subsystems (at the system level) Understanding of structured testing theory and quality assurance methodologies Knowledge of quality assurance, regression, integration, unit, system, load, and stress test execution Solid writing and organizational skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Associates degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum Education Required: AssociateYears of Experience Required: More than 5 years For more information about career opportunities with CompuCom Excell Data visit www.excell.com.
