SQL Database Administrator
Job Description:For this position, you will bring your experience as a Database Administrator to this company that provides ad server solutions to online advertising agencies and publishers.Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining the SQL Server database and OLAP environments Optimizing and tuning database/OLAP systems to maximize performance and operation Investigating and resolving problem issues originating in the database systems and Analysis services/OLAP servers Deploying new databases and upgrading/updating existing database systems Installing SQL and OLAP production servers Overseeing daily operations (monitoring, store management, backups, index maintenance, troubleshooting) Participating in 24/7 on-call support for database and OLAP systemsJob Experience: 5+ years related work experience Experience maintaining or developing databases using SQL Server 2000 and 2005 Experience with AS, SSIS, BIDS, or BI suite Experience with SQL Server OLAP (Analysis Services) Experience with T-SQL, MDX, XMLA, and Visual Studio 2005 Relational database experience in logical and physical data models and data marts Experience in OLAP/Cube design and build (Microsoft Analysis Services) Experience in ETL (Microsoft Integration Services) Knowledge of Database engineering practices and schema design Knowledge of Internet based services, web technologies, and Excel pivot tables Familiarity with OLAP/SQL reporting technologies Bachelors degree in a related field Experience running SQL and OLAP servers in a SAN environment is preferred Experience with SQL Server transactional replication is a plus Knowledge of SQL Server internals and Windows internals is a plus Knowledge of SQL profiler and performance dashboard is a plusMinimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: More than 5 years For more information about career opportunities with CompuCom Excell Data visit www.excell.com.
