SQL DBA/Developer

Our client in Parsippany, NJ has a contract to hire opportunity for a SQL DBA/Developer.We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Server Database Administrator/Developer to design, develop and support multiple databases and web based applications.  The candidate must have a verifiable track record of hands-on development and support using proven SQL and ASP.NET standards.  This will be demonstrated through the ability to proactively evaluate and update physical and logical designs in response to dynamic business needs.  The candidate will interact with the business users to collect requirements, present technical solutions, and follow the organization’s SDLC.  Many of the supported applications are third party software vendor applications, which will require solid communication and negotiation skills. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Experience in managing vendor applications; working with a variety of software vendors to acquire technical specifications, system specs, and installation requirements.  Solid follow-up skills to ensure vendor responsiveness. Proven experience in a Microsoft SQL Server environment including the use of Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer, Profiler, and other tools as needed in a MS SQL Server suite; Data Transformation and Analysis in both normalized and de-normalized data environments from a wide variety of data sources; Experience with SSIS, SSRS & SSAS, ETL Tools and Data Warehousing for use in SQL Project Development.
