SAP Pricing & Promotions - Specialist

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The associate will be responsible for maintaining master data that supports Pricing and Promotions in the SAP application. The associate will also support managing article master data, purchase order data and merchandise hierarchy data. Associate will drive all efforts to centralize pricing and event management. This candidate will help to coordinate efforts with Brand Management, Merchants, Planners, the MIS POS tram, Marketing, the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team, Store Operations and stores. This position will help identify business requirements to improve existing processes as well as support requirements to meet Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Qualified candidates must possess the ability to: • Set-up pricing records for new styles. • Ensure Coupons are properly entered and defined in the Article Master • Define Coupon event characteristics within SAP. Coordinate event functionality with both store POS and DTC POS teams • Input and maintain permanent Mark Downs, coordinating mark down expenses with Merchants and Planning. Ensure price status codes are maintained within the Article Master • Partner with Soma Management Team, Marketing, and Merchants to define and input promotions • Review and manage promotion overlap by article. Ensure price validity • Communicate pricing and promotion plans with store operations, DTC, and the call centers on a timely basis • Maintain communication with the MIS team to understand system pricing capabilities and constraints across all systems: SAP, POS, CRS, Sales audit, Market works, etc. • Work with merchants to schedule and input promotions in SAP • Work with merchants to input permanent price changes in SAP • Develop store communications for promotions and price changes • Works with Stores Organization regarding store communications • Provide Merchandise Support services • Maintain a timely flow of data input requests. Follow-up to get clarification or communicate delays • Support the business and MIS teams with other SAP projects to help meet company deadlines • Perform other duties, as requested and required by the business needs QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Strong analytical and math skills 2. Detail oriented 3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 4. Well developed follow-up and organizational skills 5. Excellent computer skills 6. Ability to handle multiple priorities 7. SAP experience is a plus 8.
