Job Description:For this contract-to-hire position, you will be involved in the execution of consumer-focused Web services for this world-renowned software company!Your responsibilities will include: Analyzing new software components to determine efficient and effective testing strategies Designing and developing testing tools that measure and ensure quality is built into the product Testing and critiquing software components and interfaces Diagnosing technical issues and software defects Providing status updates Authoring test plans and cases Conducting security and stress tests Debugging at source level Investigating and prioritizing bugsJob Experience: 3+ years related work experience Experience with professional-level Web development testing Experience with client-side and server-side application components for Linux and Windows Experience designing and developing test suites utilizing homegrown or commercial test frameworks Knowledge of XML, Java, SQL, and AJAX Understanding of the Agile development process Familiarity with the Linux operating system Exposure to commercial and open source automated unit, acceptance, and load testing frameworks (JUnit, JUnitPerf, JMeter, Fitnesse, HttpUnit) Exposure to Ruby on Rails framework Ability to write automated test scripts Solid problem solving, planning, analysis, and estimation skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Bachelors degree in a related fieldMinimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: 3-5 Years For more information about career opportunities with CompuCom Excell Data visit www.excell.com.
