This individual must be a high-energy, self-starter with a sense of overall business understanding and perspective; very strong communication, technical, influencing and interpersonal skills are a must. Proactive, professional, motivated team player. Strong customer orientation. Excellent organizational and process improvement skills. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, data base software and systems knowledge is highly desirable. Must have effective written and oral communications skills. Ability to perform multiple functions in a small company environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage the review of all customer contracts world wide for key financial terms and conditions. Manage the review of all customer contracts for key determinants regarding Revenue Recognition. Determine revenue treatment for new and emerging products. Monitor the accounting of the various revenue treatments worldwide. Perform all Revenue related SOX activities. Prepare summary overview of Revenue Contracts and analysis for quarterly for the Audit Committee, Executive management meetings and Board of Director meetings. Manage and update as required the Company s Revenue Recognition Policy. Key Interfaces:Will work closely with the Sales, Business unit and Executive Staff members in coordinating the sales process from the financial perspective Working with Accounting, the Business Units and the Sales force will manage the periodic financial revenue flash process and track progress to quarterly revenue targets. Provide the key internal interface for external auditor reviews. Responsibilities will include internal reporting on variance to plan and comparison to prior periods. Contribute to the MD&A disclosure in the 10-K and 10-Q s. Coordinate the quarterly earnings press release with Corporate Communications and Legal and prepare the GAAP to Non-GAAP reconciliation and disclosure footnotes. Interfaces with all levels of management and functional groups
