Research SAS Programmer

We are looking for a research SAS programmer to support research activities. This position involves providing programming, research, and project management support to social policy research projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

· 3-6 years of research SAS programming experience

· Experience designing and constructing large databases for research analysis
·Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team including researchers, analysts, and programmers
·Ability to write clear and concise technical memos, report sections, and system documentation
·Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work with others  

·BA/BS in Economics, Statistics, Math, Operations Research, Computer Science or related discipline  

 

Preferred Qualifications:

· Familiarity with health care and/or insurance systems and data is a plus
· Experience programming in SAS or related languages in a social science or policy environment

· An advanced degree such as a master's degree in a social science or IT-related subject
