At Millennium, we're big on results, not formality.Position Summary:Position Summary: In Analytical Development (AD) department all the testing methods for drug substances and drug products are developed, evolved and validated at various product development stages. Analytical scientists in AD work very closely with the customer groups such as MedChem, Process R&D, Formulation Sciences, DMPK/ Toxicology, QC and QA to advance the drug candidates through regulatory submission. AD scientists also provide strong technical support to commercial product in the market and work in GLP and GMP compliant environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Work with a Scientist on pharmaceutical product development for small molecule drug candidates. Conduct methods development, validation, transfer and stability testing for drug substances and drug products using modern analytical technologies such as HPLC, GC, GC/MS, KF, dissolution apparatus in support of chemical process and formulation development. The individual is responsible to document all the work according to GMP/GLP and internal SOP requirements and generate the summary report for different studies.Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications: Qualified candidates should possess a BS with 0-4 years or MS with 0-2 years in chemistry or a related field. A minimum 1 year hands-on experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred. The candidate must be familiar with analytical instruments using HPLC, GC (headspace), dissolution apparatus, KF, IC and UV-Vis spectrophotometry. Work experience in GLP and GMP laboratory for pharmaceutical analysis is preferred. The candidate must be able to work effectively as a member of a team and interactively to provide support to different groups.
