Research Analyst/Engineer (Software Development)

SUMMARY: Serve as a member of project teams to design and develop software for various government and industrial applications. Perform all phases of software lifecycle, including requirements generation, software design, implementation, testing, integration, installation and maintenance activities, and required documentation. Requires interaction with technical teams and clients and making technical presentations.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Requires a BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering with 2-5 years experience in software design and development. Must have at least a 3.3 GPA. Excellent academic performance or professional experience indicating excellent work ethic and technical skills; excellent interpersonal skills are required; requires ability to work well individually or as a member of a project team; excellent written and verbal communication skills are required; knowledge of software development for diverse applications; UNIX and various PC Operating Systems; Java, C#, and C++ programming languages; experience in any of the following a plus: Web Services, J2EE, Eclipse, Ant, XDoclet, Middlegen, Hibernate, Cache, Oracle, MS/SQL Server, MS.Net, BizTalk Server, WebLogic, Rational Rose, Rational Software Architect, Rational ClearCase, Rational ClearQuest, and PL/SQL. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
