Rep, Telemarketing (Part-time)

To generate sales through the placing of phone calls to new and existing customers. Generate new business and increase or upgrade present subscriber business, general customer contact for schedules, installs, non-pays, etc.


Hours: 5pm to 9pm M-F 10am to 2pm at least every other Saturday. Total 16-20 hrs/wk

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Generate quality pay unit sales, including conducting telephone sales calls (introduction, establish rapport, determine needs, educate subscriber on product, presentation, close, wrap-up and overcome objections, sales follow-up and maintain professional image.
Build and maintain positive customer relations, including expectations, tailoring approach to the potential customers, establishing community visibility and creating positive climate with customers who say no.
Educate current and potential customers, including acquiring and communication "value added", product knowledge (programming, service enhancements and pricing), operational information (billing, installation, service, repair, equipment issues), new technologies and services and knowledge of Time Warner Cable community contributions.
Contribute to departmental cooperation (both inter and intra), including understanding each department's mission, implementing cooperative procedures, enhancing customer service and contributing to the growth of fellow sales reps.
Perform required administrative functions, including completing and submitting all reports, orders, requests, following-up for customer satisfaction and attending sales meeting.
Develop and maintain accurate sales records, including sales order and daily and weekly sales activity reports.

HUMAN RELATIONS:
This position will interact extensively with outside customers and with a wide variety of people in all departments.

NECESSARY OR REQUIRED SKILLS:
Prefer the individual have some college for this position.
Previous sales experience preferred.
Previous customer service contact helpful to develop good communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit for long periods of time while viewing a CRT.
Ability to converse with internal and external customers.
