We are currently looking for an Rental Manager for our Indianapolis Branch.  This position will report to the Regional Rental Manager. A successful candidate for this position must be outgoing and personable, able to present a professional image and have great interpersonal skills by displaying honesty, ethics, and integrity at all times. Other desired qualities include managerial and leadership skills with ability to inspire others, high energy level and passionate about their job, ability to organize and prioritize, confidentiality, enjoys competing and winning, good oral and written communication skills, ability to hold others accountable, common sense and problem solving abilities, computer skills and be able to meet the physical requirements of the job. 

Job duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Receive and respond to all rental inquiries including:  sourcing of equipment, quoting rates, providing delivery, etc.Source all rental equipment, working with District or Regional Rental Manager (DRM or RRM) when necessaryWork with DRM or RRM on all Re-Rent Report all lost orders to DRM or RRMCoordinate all incoming and outgoing rental transportation (independently or through assigned resources) Enhance and grow customer base by connecting with key customers making visits when and where necessary  Ensure complete and accurate equipment delivery and pickup documentation, including signed contracts and check Out/In documentation, is processed in the system and filed appropriately within 24 hours of delivery / pickup (receiving, validating, processing and filing) Create rental contracts in the system, managing contract pricing and ensuring that rental contract information and paperwork is accurate and complete on open and close of contract Manage fleet repair and maintenance process and costs including Monitoring equipment warranties and warranty expirations and take appropriate actions in advance of warranty expirationAssure proper and timely billing of abuse and misuse to customer Scheduling and issuing preventive maintenance notifications to the service organization and ensuring that requested maintenance work is completed in a timely manner, at reasonable costs and within acceptable standards and guidelines. Work with RRM on larger repair costs (over $500.00)Check over all Rental returnsCommunicate with customer on misuse, abuse and overtime issues  Assure all misuse, abuse and overtime is being billed to customerDetermine necessary steps and initiate preparation for Rent ReadyKnow and take ownership of your fleetCondition of Equipment Make fleet recommendations to Regional Rental Manager Other equipment, battery and chargers, attachments, forks etc.
