RN Openings in Quality ImprovementImprove Yourself - Help Others Improve!As the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, the Northeast Health Care Quality Foundation is a leader in health care quality improvement in Northern New England. We have two openings for high-energy, licensed Registered Nurses. These are career-advancing positions in the expanding field of quality improvement.
* One position focuses on MRSA work with hospitals. Hospital experience is necessary and involvement with infection control is desirable.
* One position focuses on clinical pathway work with physician offices with EHR systems to improve preventive care (logo, mammography, vaccinations). Office and EHR experience are necessary.
If you have the interest and energy to provide technical assistance to help promote quality improvement systems and you are able to work within the boundaries of a federally determined program and corporate guidelines, this is a position to consider. A positive and pragmatic mindset and the willingness to work collaboratively with a broad array of professionals are critical. You can expect to work one-on-one with individuals as well as giving group assistance.
The positions are full time, Monday-Friday, based in our Dover, NH office, with routine travel within Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. (Reimbursement for travel is in accordance with Internal Revenue Service rates and provisions). A competitive salary supports the position along with a comprehensive benefit package.
All NHCQF nurses support our Beneficiary Protection Program by providing weekend and holiday coverage for appeal calls from patients. These open positions involve being "on call" one weekend every two months with offset time provided if weekend work is actually done.
