Records Mgmt Supv (Task Leader)

Zimmerman Associates, Inc. (ZAI) is seeking a seasoned Supervisor for a federal project in Washington, D.C.  The qualified candidate will review policies and procedures on records and files management and identify topics that need to be incorporated to address management of records in all media with special attention to electronic records, including electronic mail.  Will recommend additional policies and procedures if needed, ensuring compliance with all NARA records management program requirements.  Will conduct interviews with personnel and review documentation to assess the electronic records environment.  Will identify and review solutions of electronic records including electronic mail, correspondence and other documents that are records as defined.  Will prepare reports on potential solutions including estimate of cost implementation. 

The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Management or a related discipline and a minimum of 3 years experience in Federal records and information management. The qualified candidate will also have experience in direction and quality control, records management inventories, assessments, analyses, and recommending and implementing remedial activities.  Will have demonstrated ability to plan and implement projects in a cost-effective manner; a good working knowledge of Federal contracting procedures, and excellent oral and written communication skills.  Experience shall include a detailed working knowledge of the Federal Records management laws and regulations, scheduling, and familiarity with NARA and GAO requirements.
