Position Summary:
The Receptionist is responsible for answering and redirecting all phone calls that come in to the main phone line and other administrative support duties as assigned.
Major Responsibilities:
* Answering the telephone, identifying the purpose of the call and transferring the call to the appropriate department or individual. Logging collect calls if applicable.
* Greeting individuals/clients as they arrive, identifying the purpose of their visit and notifying the appropriate staff member. Employee of their arrival. Sign in visitors if applicable.
* Answer enquiries and provides information of a general nature.
* Ensure bookings of assigned boardrooms or meeting rooms.
* Maintain & update Staff Telephone Directory.
Skills and Experience:
* 1-2 years general office experience, preferably with specific experience on switchboard or reception.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Strong communication skills (written/verbal).
