Yoh Engineering seeks an experienced RFID Design Engineer for our customer in St. Louis, MO.Responsibilities: • Research, design and develop RF and analog hardware. • Conceptualize and design state of the art products. • Simulation, prototyping and testing for design verification. • Prepare and maintain product documentation. Requirements: • Minimum B.S. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with least 8 years of hands-on experience in RF/Analogue Design. • Very passionate in R&D work. Strong emphasis on hardware development. • Good track record for successful new product development. • Some knowledge of firmware will be an advantage. Micro experience essential. • Good communications and analytical skills and a team player. • Experience in digital RF communications architecture. • Experience in RF frontends and baseband circuits. • Innovative with distinct leadership qualities. • RF, wireless / systems engineer with experience in RF system design, integration, test, project and program management. Experienced in detailed planning, design and implementation of wireless communications projects from system architecture to board level design. Design and development experience in the following technology arenas: • Wireless: RFID, Bluetooth, 802.11x, ZigBee, 802.16x, Trunked/conventional LMR, GPRS, SATCOM • EME / Environmental: per DO-160, MIL-461, MIL-462, MIL-810 • Avionics: DO-181, DO-186A, ED-23B, FAR 25.581, MIL-1553B, RS-485, RS-422 • Antenna Design: UHF/VHF/ FM - slot array, cavity back resonators, panel antennas • Applications: DoD, FAA, NASA, NOAA, Public Safety & Law Enforcement, Homeland Security, Public Utilities, Commercial • Experienced with project management methodologies. Knowledgeable of business and cost issues, risk assessment and mitigation, problem solving, and conflict resolution. Experience working in a formal CMM/CMMI process environment.
