Job Description
The work our team does has a visible and significant impact on the firm. You will be responsible for start to finish ownership of a project. You will have demonstrated ability to build methodical approaches to solve business issues. The role involves extensive interface with various organization throughout the firm. We have created 'industry first' approaches to solving business issues that apply the advanced frameworks for credit and operational risk.
You will manage relationships with business partners to ensure successful communication and execution of key initiatives. The ability to convey complex concepts very simply and apply common sense tests is key. Role is multi faceted and requires you to put on strategic, analytical and operational hats.
Specific projects may include building statistical models to address business problems or include working with system architects to design application systems to analyze firm wide data. The person in this role should be comfortable with an evolving role as their assigned project matures.
Other Duties may include: developing and evaluating solutions to a wide range of highly complex financial problems; identifying, analyzing and reporting on financial impact of proposed strategic business initiatives; developing, designing, programming, implementing and modifying complex financial models for business analysis; anticipating issues based on knowledge of business trends and proposing direction and solutions; serving as expert consultant to senior management on highly complex financial issues.
Located in San Francisco, Financial District.
*Minimum Qualifications
BS and Top Tier MBA or Masters/Phd in Finance/Economics/Financial Engineering. 5+ Years Overall work experience.
Preferred Skills
Quantitative undergraduate background. Strong understanding of business statistics. Hyperion, Access, SAS, SQL and Power Excel knowledge. Knowledge of I flex products and depth in understanding in Basel II domestic and international regulations is a big plus.
Proven high performer who is self-directed with outstanding written and oral presentation
