Our growing company is currently seeking a Site System Support Administrator for our Augusta, GA site.
Responsibilities:
Provides technical expertise for the site. Technical manager for site and fully responsible for its functionality, maintenance, software applications, hardware and the security and recovery of all data.
Hands-on role maintaining the functions of the site which will include support for the facility’s LAN, WAN and internet connection; maintaining the network hardware and software; configuration, maintenance and upgrading all site servers; monitoring and performing all data backup and recovery processes; setting up login and e-mail accounts.
Work with servers, workstations and printers on the network and in standalone environments. Monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity is required.
Maintain records and documentation concerning the network, server and LAN/WAN configurations. This includes system and network monitoring and performance analysis.
Mentor the Site System Support and Site System Support, Sr. associates.
Where necessary (when a Site System Support, Sr. associate is not available), the Site System Support Admin will also be responsible for the duties as they are outlined in the Site System Support, Sr. position description. This includes providing first support for end users and clients as necessary.
Follow and enforce the corporate policies and procedures maintaining and enforcing the highest standards of security as set out by the corporation.
Qualifications:
Education: BA or BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar program; or equivalent work experience
Experience Target: 5 years experience in similar capacity recommended
Skills: Background in Windows NT, 2000, .Net, Microsoft Office (MCSE); excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills; ability to multi task and take initiatives with minimum direction; ability to manage and direct others;
experience with large enterprise environments.
Knowledge/Abilities: In depth knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (PC and Server) and Microsoft Office, including installation, configuration, recovery, and administration; extensive LAN and WAN networking skills, tape backup and restore procedures; ability to manage others and set priorities.
Special Certifications: MCSE preferred
