Purchasing Agent - Chemicals

This large, growing chemical manufacturing company located in the SE Houston area is seeking to hire an experience Purchasing Agent.  Must have Bachelor Degree.  Strong SAP.  Minimum of 5 years experience with purchasing for a chemical plant.  Establish and negotiate contracts.  Work hand in hand to ensure arrival/receipt of merchandise.  Will purchase all goods, materials and chemicals necessary for production within the plant.  Must have Solid Chemicals Purchasing Experience!  Will be responsible for purchasing all raw materials and chemicals for production.  Be able to make recommendations on purchasing procedures.  Source for new materials and negotiate all current pricing for chemicals.  Up to $90K  Email resumes to lfields@meador.com ;rreed@meador.com

Buyer - Distribution

This company located in Ship Channel area is seeking to fill a position for a Buyer which is open due to continued growth.  Must have Pipe and Valve and Fitting experience as a strong strength.  Demonstrated leader.  Ability to negotiate contracts.  Strong knowledge of the entire shipping/receiving process.  Be able to look at sales reports and analyze purchasing data for inventory purposes.  An individual who can be a mentor and be a leader.  Strong excel skills as a Must!  Up to $85K.  Email rreed@meador.com ;lfields@meador.com
