PMI is seeking an experienced, individual to design, develop, edit and maintain presentations for the CEO and other executive management, including but not limited to speeches and graphically sophisticated organization presentations for small and large external audiences of varying business, association and government entities in diverse geographic locations.  Lead, plan and coordinate the delivery of the organization annual report.

 

Deliverables are to be aligned with public relations strategy, major initiatives such as Advocacy and the Outreach Action Plan, and key messages of the Institute as they pertain to and support the association’s overall media relations strategies.

 

Requirements:

·  Bachelors Degree in journalism, communications or other relevant discipline.

·  Minimum five years experience utilizing various writing skills, preferably in a nonprofit environment, to develop and produce executive level public presentations.

·  Global expertise and experience preferred along with the capability to produce desired multi lingual and multicultural deliverables. 

·  Track record of results demonstrating successful organization change, upgraded image and brand, and/or expanding executive success as global spokespersons.

·  Demonstrated creative ability. 

·  Strong customer service orientation required.

·  Must demonstrate excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.

·  Demonstrated writing experience and creative ability for presentations, with expert use of graphic/presentation software, ability to effectively utilize digital camera equipment, and solid knowledge of video development and production techniques.

·  Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent tasks to meet deliverables as well as routinely prioritize among major initiatives and operational tasks.

·  Design, preparation, and documentation of work plans; ability to see the big picture and report progress accordingly

·  Strong verbal and written communications skills, including public speaking and ad hoc presentations.

·  Relationship management skills, including demonstrated ability to work with all levels of staff up to and including the Board level, global customers, volunteers, and external organizations from diverse cultures and locations with a track record of positive relationships.

·  Self-initiated problem solving and decision-making.

·  Well-organized; demonstrated ability to maintain information and project tracking for high volume activities

·  Ability to proofread various size and formatted materials, electronically and/or in hard copy

·  Command of English language and Associated Press rules and style.

·  Work may extend beyond regular schedule at times in support of program or project objectives.

·  Work with and as part of a team or teams

·  Experience with sensitive confidential matters and respect for same

·  Ability to thrive in an environment where conflicting priorities may threaten schedule and quality.

·  Proficiency utilizing Microsoft products such as Word and Excel. Well-versed with PowerPoint, including the creation of PowerPoint presentation productions.

·  Knowledge, experience, and ability to periodically travel, domestically and internationally, including weekends and/or holidays.  Occasional travel.
