Prospecting Specialist

Overview:The Prospecting Specialist is responsible for scheduling appointments for outside Account Executives by making a high volume of outbound calls to Muzak prospects. In this position, the Prospecting Specialist will develop sales and customer service skills, follow through and communication skills. This position offers a base salary plus commission and bonuses and a competitive benefits package. Key Accountabilities:• Working monthly with the Sales Managers, selecting the most appropriate team of Account Executives to participate in the Prospecting Program• Working closely with the Account Executives on a daily basis, targeting prospects and scheduling appointments to sell all Muzak products and services• Tracking each Account Executive’s progress and reporting to the Sales Managers• Identifying emerging trends and vertical markets and sharing this information with the sales team. Requirements: A Prospecting Specialist candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be self-motivated and competitive, and maintain a positive attitude at all times. Computer proficiency is REQUIRED. Candidate should also be comfortable making over 100 outbound sales calls each day.
