Project Manager/Analyst (Six Sigma Black Belt)

Job Description:Larger reputable company is seeking and IT Black Belt professional for End User Services (EUS) to provide leadership and direction to the third party provider of the IT service desk and IT desk site support, and for internal IT resolver teams to improve service quality, and reduce the number of support events. In particular the IT Black Belt for EUS will:Use the support ticket data collected by the IT service desk to identify six sigma process improvements and assists in development of infrastructural, divisional, and functional strategies and priorities to improve support processes. Apply six sigma tools to deliver improved levels of quality, process capability, and business processes. Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to improve process capability and eliminate defects. Serve in conjunction with the IT Master Black Belt as a change agent in institutionalizing Six Sigma quality in IT. Facilitate, train, and coach IT EUS team members in the use of Six Sigma tools. Educate, coach, and mentor IT EUS Green Belts on Lean Six Sigma philosophy and application. Constantly seek, share, and implement IT support best practices.



Job Experience:Knowledge Skills and ExperienceMinimal Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Minimum 7 years of work experience in IT. Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT black belt role primarily utilizing process improvement and project management skills. Completed training program in Six Sigma philosophy, theory, and application tools/tactics. Confirmed competencies in Six Sigma - Black Belt proficiencies in IT. Experience in applying lean six sigma tools in IT end user services is highly desirable. Proven capabilities to influence cross functional teams. Must be a team player with strong interpersonal communication skills
