Scoping, estimation, and procurement
Permitting for all aspects of field work
Implementation of field programs, which may include sampling of various media, including soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling
Supervision of field investigations and subcontractors
Analysis of site characterization data
Technical reporting
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Project level professionals are expected to provide leadership through definition and delegation of tasks and mentoring the technical development of junior staff
Bachelor's degree in one or a combination of the following: environmental science/engineering, civil engineering, or soil science; Master's degree preferred
Three to five years work experience in environmental consulting services, which could include site characterization; remedial planning, design, and implementation; storm water management, and environmental health and safety compliance.
Work experience should include: Phase I and Phase II assessments, design of and preparation for site characterization programs, and preparation of Health and Safety Plans
Strong analytical, technical writing, communication, and project management skills
OSHA HAZWOPER training preferred
Willing to travel up to 50 percent of the time, as needed
Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
