We are seeking a Programmer Analyst CMS for our Communications Society in New York, NY who will be responsible for all development and administration on the Drupal CMS.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Coordinate the various processes in Drupal administration, development, support and implementation life cycle.

•  Configure and customize Drupal Applications and Modules.

•  Manage and develop upgrade paths to Drupal and related modules, database structure, third party and custom modules.

•  Design, write, develop and implement new applications for the Drupal platform.

•  Report progress and activity to IT Manager and Drupal team on a continuing basis.

•  Develop applications to integrate existing and new Internet technologies and services.

•  Provide training and support to ComSoc staff and users for applications and services in Drupal.

•  Implement industry best practices and stay up to date on emerging trends in order to implement these when appropriate.

•  Work hand in hand with application developers, Drupal CMS moderators and users to define and implement standards and processes in this area.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent required.

•  Must have a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in analysis and programming, including at least 1 year with PHP, MySQL and web applications.

•  Experience with application development and administration with Drupal or other CMS tools is highly desirable.
