Production Assistant
Responsibilities: 1.As assigned, review with EP(s) production schedules, treatments, scripts, rough cuts, fine cuts, final screening copies, and other materials. 2.Manage jointly with EP(s) the project production schedule for contract compliance and overall project workflow. 3.Track deliverables and communicate fulfillment of production milestones, production issues or changes, to project team members. Manage and distribute production delivery schedules, episode descriptions, shooting locations, production company information, and other relevant program updates using appropriate databases. 4.Provide, organize, and dispense production information to outside production companies (i.e. clocks, technical guidelines, producer's packet, logo, uplink numbers, credits, copyright language, research information, beta selects, slides, QC results, suggested breaks, etc.).5.Maintain constant communication with production company to ascertain the most accurate production information such as production schedule, shoot locations, episode descriptions, credits, scripts, graphics, etc. 6.Make copies/dubs and distribute tapes, scripts, proposals and correspondence. 7.Arrange meetings, conference calls, travel arrangements and handle travel and expense reports as requested. 8.Assist EP with coordination and communication with other DCI departments, including Press/IPR, Programming, Program Editing, Production Management, Viewer Relations and Awards/Competition. Respond to special requests as assigned. Requirements:* Passion for content appealing to vehicle enthusiasts, specifically the areas of design, engineering, restoration, speed/sport and collecting.* At least one year experience in television or film production including on-line editing required. * Strong verbal and written communication skills a must. * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. * Proficiency in Word and Excel. * Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience is preferred. * Legal right to work in United States.
