Production Artists - Freelance

Established in 1976 and headquartered in Dallas, Heritage Auction Galleries is the largest collectibles auctioneer and third largest auction house in the world with annual revenues of over $600 million. 

 

We are currently seeking freelance Production Artists with the availability to support various projects through completion beginning in September and ending January.  Potential to assist with future projects approximately three to six times per year.  Due to tight production deadlines, availability on nights and weekends is required.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Production focused tasks, including:

o   Layout of catalogs and text manipulation while meeting or exceeding deadlines

o   Making edits and proof copy and art

 

·         Managing multiple production assignments within a demanding project schedule

·         Other duties as needed

 

Experience and Skills:

·         Advanced knowledge of CS3, with strong focus on InDesign; Photoshop helpful

·         Mac proficiency required; PC experience a plus

·         Willingness to adhere to corporate standards and branding; training provided

·         Attention to detail

·         Deadline oriented

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Prior prepress experience preferred
