We currently have the following opportunity available at our Deer Park, TX location.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical assistance to the production departments for the operational issues pertaining to safety, environmental, capacity and quality. Provide process knowledge to project managers and engineering personnel to aid in the specification and/or maintenance of process equipment, instruments and control logic. Responsible for process and equipment changes to maximize productivity. Act as a point of contact for technical issues with customers, suppliers, and other Lubrizol locations. Evaluate production quality concerns and coordinate production improvement efforts. SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Position suitable for entry-level engineers as well as those experienced in process or plant operations. Ability to keep information confidential. Effective interpersonal, communication and planning skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. CONSIDERED A PLUS: Experience with SAP. Graduate degree in engineering.
