To sustain and enhance our leadership position in the pharmaceutical industry, we continue to recruit, develop and motivate individuals whose skills, values, and work ethic will grow and improve our business.Job SummaryIndividuals at this level will be responsible for managing all statistical aspects (protocol review, data analysis plan, statistical report, alternate data-driven analyses) of multiple projects with minimal supervision. He/she will keep abreast of and critically assess relevant new statistical methodologies, and implement them as appropriate. Individuals at this level should also have the ability to develop new methodologies when needed.Job ResponsibilitiesProduce high-quality deliverables and adherence to project target dates with respect to protocol development and analysis and report preparation for assigned projects. Participate in the planning of clinical trials. This includes providing input on study design and providing sample sizes (or power), and proposed methods of analysis. Responsibility for the development and execution of study level SAS programs to verify results provided by statistical programmer. Responsible for any post-hoc analyses that are motivated by the results of the planned analyses. Responsibility for the statistical analysis and interpretation of data, design of effective tables and data listings, and presentation of the results in co-authored CSRsPlan analyses and write statistical section of overall summaries for NDA submissionsRemain up-to-date in relevant statistical methodologies through literature review, membership of professional bodies, and attendance at scientific meetings and appropriate courses. Individuals at this level are expected to propose and implement novel study designs/analysis methods for clinical trials. Individual should present these novel methods to other members of the statistical group and effectively present them to relevant non-statistical groupsInteract with Data Management on data collection activities and supervise programmers on programming-related activities.Plan and perform relevant simulations.Plan and coordinate interim analyses.Assist in training of new statisticians/programmers.Basic QualificationsA Ph.D. degree in StatisticsIncumbent should have at least four years in the pharmaceutical or related field. Incumbent should be proficient in SAS and have expertise in advanced experimental designs/statistical analyses such as crossover studies, longitudinal analysis, and survival analysis.Relocation is available for this position.
