Principal Human Resources Generalist
Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Principal Human Resources Generalist Job Description:Primary FunctionDesigns and performs a broad spectrum of Human Resources generalist duties, including employee relations counseling and investigations, employment-related compliance, compensation, and performance management. Duties and Responsibilities Investigate employee workplace situations or complaints, including claims of harassment, discrimination and policy violations. Provide human resources counsel to employees on employee relations issues, including advising on performance management issues and conducting terminations. Administer employment policies and procedures in compliance with corporate policies and applicable state and federal laws. Maintain and administer required records, forms and reports. Assist in the coordination of employee programs and events. Additional duties and projects as assigned or requested.Specialized Knowledge & Skills Proven ability to successfully interact with all levels of employees, including senior level management, in a corporate environment Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills Strong PC Skills - PeopleSoft, MS Office suite Strong work ethic Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality on sensitive issues Plusses include ability to speak Spanish; experience in a multi-state environment; compensation skills; affirmative action plan administration; PHR or SPHR certification; experience in a high-tech environment.Experience 5 or more years of HR Generalist experience, including regularly conducting ER investigations and performance management counselingEducation & Training Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related fieldMinimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: More than 5 yearsExpected Travel Time: NoneThis company may offer relocation assistance.
