Prepares production reports. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Planner or Scheduler in the manufacturing industry. Prepares list of required materials, tools, and equipment and prepares purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment as required. Ability to read, understand and clearly speak the English language. Phone calls regarding this position are will not be accepted, please follow the instructions to apply and be sure to attach your resume.Job Experience:Plans and establishes production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products.Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and people requirements. Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects. Schedules identical processes to eliminate duplicate machine setups. Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Prepares production reports. Prepares lists of required materials, tools, and equipment and prepares purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment as required. Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Degree preferredA MINIMIM of 5 years of work experience required. High level of organizational skills and attention to detail. MUST HAVE experience in the Manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of machine shop production processes. Strong knowledge of production scheduling fundamentals and familiarity with applicable software. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to read, understand, and clearly speak the English language.Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: frequent sitting, standing, and walking; frequent computer use; some lifting or moving up to 25 lbs.
