Currently, in our Process Support – Family Care Department; we are seeking a Pipefitter Journeyman Mechanic for our Everett, WA location. Summary: Pipefitter Journeyman Mechanic is responsible for performing predictive & preventative tasks associated with industrial equipment.Responsabilities:* Perform repairs and new installations on hazardous chemical systems, steam systems, air systems, hydraulic systems and fire systems.* Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.* Build scaffolding* Plan work, identify parts and learn the computerized maintenance system for offering job materials or writing work ordersQualifications: Basic:* Journeyman State certification or formal four year apprenticeship.* Basic computer skills.* Must be able to work in various height levels, in pits and in confined spaces.* Flexibility to work overtime and weekends if needed.* Understand & identify proper gaskets for application* Practice & understand rigging fundamentals.* Understand safe oxygen and acetylene torch.* Welding & Carpentry skills.* Proficient at using hand tools, portable electric tools and stationary shop Equipment.Preferred:* HS diploma or GED or Journeyman License* Pipefitting Mechanic experience Other:* A strong commitment to working effectively in a team environment* Strong communication and leadership skills, including self-motivation* High degree of “people” skills and be able to effectively communicate with many with many different people on a daily basis.* Ability to work in a manufacturing atmosphere safely and follow safety practices and regulations.* Work with no supervision or in a team to complete work on time* Work with operations to repair or solve issues.
