Payroll Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position oversees processing the payroll for a designated group of facilities.

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:  

No direct reports.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1)      Customer service for assigned facility payroll personnel

2)      Paperwork processing for new hires, transfers, compensation changes, terminations, etc.

3)      Troubleshooting payroll system issues

4)      Time and attendance data entry

5)      Functional understanding of Kronos and Oracle financials

6)   Other duties and tasks as assigned

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 



Education: Associates degree in business administration or equivalent (preferred/ required).



Experience: Minimum 2 years experience working within a large payroll department

Skills and Abilities: Strong detail, analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to organize and address issues on a timely basis. Strong computer skills including proficiency in excel. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong customer service skills.
