Participant Service Center Representative

Job Description:Primary Purpose of the Position:The Participant Service Center (PSC) Representative is responsible for handling telephone inquiries from Retirement Plan participants, regarding balance information and processing of transactions in their accounts. The PSC Representative is also responsible for researching individual account activity in a timely manner. Note: There are multiple positions open for this job.Principal Responsibilities:* Responsible for handling telephone inquiries from Retirement Plan participants, regarding balance information and processing of transactions in their accounts. Accepts and accurately processes transactions such as investment mix allocation changes, exchanges, loans, salary deferral changes and pre-authorized withdrawals. Performs quality review of all transactions to verify accuracy.* Responds to telephone inquiries from existing and potential Retirement Plan clients regarding investment options, plan details and general account questions. Composes written responses to correspondence received from participants via mail or e-mail. Researches and responds to participant inquiries with accurate information in a timely manner. * Maintains accurate and up-to-date records on fund performance, plan details and changes. * Completes telephone logs, research summaries, non-phone activity logs and other reports in a timely manner. * Cross-sells appropriate T. Rowe Price products and services to expand and retain assets under management.Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree preferred* Proficient in a Windows-based computer environment required* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Ability to successfully manage and complete multiple responsibilities simultaneously* Good organization and decision making skills* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Customer service skills * Ability to work well on a team* Proficient with 10-key number pad* Experience working in professional environment preferred* High school diploma/equivalent and a minimum of one year related work experience requiredT.
