Part-time Oracle DBA
We have an immediate need for a part-time Oracle DBA to work on a dynamic Interactive Team in Long Beach, CA. The individual will work with product developers to support the Oracle databases and ensuring their performance, availability and security. The successful candidate will be a flexible individual who is able to change priorities with short notice.Â

 Responsibilities:
 Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system. Responsible for database problem escalation and work with third parties as appropriate. Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades. Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team. Provide timely and accurate updates to management.

Requirements:

Proven Oracle Database Administration experience.
Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service.
Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service.
